The good/bad news is; Ian dropped me an email saying that he'd started this weekend well with a 8.4 using soft settings which bagged him No. 2 qualifier but things went downhill from there as he tried to get more power to the track the car became more unmanageable and he slipped to 3rd spot as he was unable to improve.

The good news is; Despite the power delivery problem he won the first round of eliminations.

The GREAT news is that his closest championship contender (and No1 qualifier) failed to show for the first round, which means that all the points Ian stacks up at this event will extend his lead and with the No1 qualifier out of the running he has a better chance of winning this event. :wav:

The Fat Boys band wagon rolls on with a 3rd victory from 4 events.

Congrats to all concerned.

Despite less than impressive results (due to problems getting the power to the track without sending the front end skywards), Ian's driving skills won the day.
