Well Denny your right about the Jerry's using it first but the Britts were right behind them and they also in there testing discoverd that when injected as a gas it caused detonation and higher cyl. temps but when injected as a liguid detonation went down along with cyl. temps.

Also as a point of intrest the Britts injected it under high pressure liguid and the Germans did it in a low pressure liguid. The US came in later in the war with help from England but soon lost intrest when there jet program took off. Nothing like a afterburner to warm you up on those cold nights...lol :lol:

lol...I just learned something!

Well then in response to Loopy's question "How long have they used liquid gasses ?" I guess I'll go with rockets instead....and yes I know the Germans had 'em first :D just playin'....
