Would also like to know how long is to long to hold the gas on (75hp) ? I have no controller just direct when at full throttle.

What kit do you have?
And why no controller?

Oh, and we need pics :)

The touring is a good choice for big engies :yes:
Much better weight distribution than i have.

The longest time i had the system "on" was about 20 sec.
I never had the chance to stay longer on WOT.

The pulsoid can get very hot during operation. This is something to considder if you like high speed driving.

But why no controller?
This is so easy to drive and much safer in some ways.

Hi Marc,

Glad you found time to make a post. :yes:

Can you relate how you contacted us for bigger jets not realising you had a problem when you first experienced inadequate results and how I discussed that with you, followed by how that lead to you solving the problem before fitting bigger jets please?

Never had a contorler when I first got the kit, but I was only running a 20/25 hp shot. I have only ever used the n2o on this engine at 3k revs up to 5 and three quaters and only on road and track, Just to help it through third and forth if i'm up against a quick car. I will be running at pod later this month and not entierly sure when I should be squirting to get the best benifit. remember it's only a 75 hp. and my torque curv dips off around 6400 rpm

Trevor, I want more ! :D Is it safe to bump up to 100 hp shot now. I have used a couple of tank's now and love the kick. Every thing is fine engine wise. No sign's of running lean of rising above normal temps.

Nice looking car Zaust.
I''m sure you'll be fine on a 100 shot.
My troubles start at 150, but anything less is absorbed in the weight :(

Thank's fella. I'm sure 100 will be fine too. People are running these lumps with Fi on standered internals and getting 400 hp with no issues. I will have to get some new jet's on order then.

Today some run well over 500 hp on stock internals. :bigsmurf:

Love the E30. Nice car you have there.

100 shot should be ok if distribution is good now with 75. Flow test your fuel system at WOT when you put the 100 hp jets in and always check your plugs.

I'll be bumping the 850i to 175 shot next summer. Currently with the 150 shot it runs like a raped ape.

Sorry for the late response (been away for a week) but yes 100 should be fine.

Everything as it should be then. :yes:

Lol, better than sticking a 3.0 or turbo badge on a 1.poo.

Trevor i will place the order for the new jet's soon.

Grimmjar, the m30 is basiclly an m10 with 2 extra cylinders, This one (m30) is with the hx40 same option I will be using, but i'm not looking for this much power. This guy is also chaning to a hx55 :o

Just went back and had a read. Sorry Tervor did not reply in the past. The inital problem I had was heat soak to the solinoid's and lines from the solinoids to the injector. After some different placing away from the fire wall to where they are in the pic above all is good.

Went for my first drive of the year today, Used around half the bottle 11lbs and had a smile all the time.

I did notice that due to the cold weather that when the bottle cooled down (had been in a warm bath for a hour) the power dipped a little. Think I will need a warmer to keep the pressuer up.

Thanks for the better late than never post. ;)

It sounds like a bottle heat system is essential if you want to continue your fun at maximum efficiency.

I know, I just have a niggle in my mind about an electric blanket round a metal bottle full of compressed gas. Silly I know but its there.

That would certainly be justifiable if it weren't for the following facts;

1) Our bottle heater blankets are supplied with a high quality pressure switch (rather than a cheap shit thermostat), which ENSURES the heater will never be able to increase the pressure above the desired level.

2) For the majority of my years running my company (25 or more), I would NOT sell bottle heater blankets, for fear that the bottle pressure could exceed safe limits. The ONLY reason I'm now HAPPY to sell them, is because I designed and introduced the SPRV to ENSURE that even if there was a malfunction of the heater, the excess pressure would bleed off to keep the bottle pressure within safe limits.

With the above in mind you can be 99% (if not 100%) CERTAIN that there will be no increase in risk by using one of OUR bottle heater blanket systems.

Here you go;

http://www.noswizard.com/product_desc.php?id=99

and if you haven't got one of these already I'd suggest it would be wise to buy one now;

http://www.noswizard.com/product_desc.php?id=97

and at some time it would also be beneficial to have one of these;
