lol - Thanks for the offer but believe me it has nothing to do with the rider as Dave is doing an EXCELLENT job of that.
Our progress has only been affected by the learning rate we've been involved in with getting a full understanding of how to get the best from the REVO/Max Extreme system and any time soon we should see the FULL benefits of all that.

There's AT LEAST 0.01 in the 60ft, probably 0.03 in fact so I let you do the maths and we know why the 60fts are a bit slow and we're on with resolving that issue, which we'll hopefully achieve before his next race. :twisted:

GOOD LUCJ :cheers:

Good question, shit happened in a nut shell and we're in the process of determining exactly why by analysing Dave's records in the cold light of day, now that the season is over.

My initial analysis (which will stand unless I find something more compelling to explain the shit happening), is as follows;
1) Over a period of time (lost track of when exactly but will get that worked out soon), we damaged all 3 cylinder heads that Dave had at his disposal, NONE OF WHICH WAS DUE TO REVO related issues.

2) All these were 'repaired' but after a 'passing' comment by Dave (only a couple of meetings ago), about a crack existing in the one HE WAS USING (along with a few other unsettling comments about the condition of the head/s and valves, etc.), I'm quite sure that at least 1 was not repaired correctly and was left with a crack in it.

3) The combination of bad head repairs and a tight budget leading to the use of valves in 'questionable' condition, lead to further top end related failures which prevented Dave from making the progress we all expected this year.

I'll be providing a more detailed report ASAP but that's my initial conclusions for the events of this year.

If you look elsewhere on the forum for a thread relating to Dave's performances, you'll see he finished the year on a relative high but still well short of our goal.

Dave has a FULL updated REVO/Max system now and should be out racing again any time soon. :)
